UNISA pre-registration – Monday 1st August 2011 to Thursday 15th September 2011.
If you would like to study with one of the world’s largest universities and one of the top universities in Africa in 2012 you will need to make an application between 1 August 2011 and 15 September 2011.
Unisa is an open distance learning (ODL) institution with over 300,000 students worldwide. Each year thousands of students gain qualifications through courses provided by Unisa. For a full list of the courses available please check out the Unisa Course List 2012. As a Unisa student, you will be required to study independently with support from lecturers and tutors. Can I transfer from another university to Unisa?
Unisa may accept you from another university, except if you were excluded/suspended from a prior institution of higher education on grounds of misconduct.
Does Unisa assist students with disabilities?
Unisa’s Advocacy and Resource Centre for Students with Disabailities (ARCSWiD) will assist and support students with disabilities. If you require assistance, please indicate the nature of your disability on your registration form and contact ARCSQiD as soon as possible.
APPLICATION NEXT STEPS
If you are interested in studying with Unisa in 2012 and have identified the course you wish to study the next step is to gather the information and documentation that you will need to send to Unisa as soon as possible. You try to make your application as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment. If you are not sure what to study or what information and documentation is required please contact Pathway or Unisa. Once your application has been made you should receive a letter from Unisa within 2 to 3 weeks confirming whether or not you have been success in gaining entry to your chosen course. You will then be able to choose which modules to register for when registration for 2012 modules opens.
